Strategy #3
On my Trek there was much nature but also much urbanization. Man made things were everywhere, but then it would only take a second to find something of nature. There were many times when I would find the two clashing together, or coexisting together. So a lot of my still images are of nature alone and also the coexisting or urbanization and nature.
Strategy #2
On my Trek 01 Blog there were many sounds that were influenced by wind. When I think of wind I think of movement. These were some natural motions caused by wind that I found along my Trek 02. There is a short clip of a caterpillar trying to cross a walking path but every time it tried it would get blown off by the wind.
Strategy #1
I wanted to capture the sun but I needed an obstruction. Something to cover it so it wouldn't blow out the screen and be boring. I needed something to break it up so I went to my starting point near a pond and was able to have some tall grass do just that. The grass breaks up the sunlight and surprised me by adding hints of color into the shot. You will see blues, yellows and greens. This by far is my favorite shot thus far.
